The Institute of Basic Medicine at Wonju College of Yonsei University, the Korea Alkaline Ionized Water Association, and the Gangwon Strategic Industrial Planning Group of Gangwon Technopark will hold a ‘Symposium Ι for Medical Research on Alkaline Ionized Water’ on the 11th at the lectern on the 7th floor of Yonsei University Dental College Hospital.
This symposium was held in response to the social and institutional interest in alkaline ionized water in Korean society over the past few years, but there are few academic gatherings to deal with the actual medical aspects, and the second symposium is scheduled to be held on January 1 next year.

This symposium will be held under the theme of Understanding Alkaline Ionized Water. △Alkaline ionized water from a medical perspective by Professor Lee Jung-jung of Yonsei University △Professor Sung-taek Yoon of Korea University will present on the acidity and reducing power of water △ Dr. Kunimoto Hotta, Secretary General of the Japan Foundation for Functional Materials, will hear about the history and current status of alkaline ionized water in Japan, and △Dr. Tetsuji Kitahora, Atami Hospital, International Health and Welfare University, will hear about the physicochemical properties and clinical results of alkaline ionized water.
Afterwards, Professor Suki Kim of Yonsei University moderated a discussion on ‘Necessity and Direction of Medical Research on Alkaline Ionized Water’.
